Genesis

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (Central school Organization) is an autonomous body working under human Resources Development Ministry. This Scheme Was Approved by Govt. of India in 1962 and its implementation was started by Ministry of Education in 1963 with 20 Regional Central Schools run by ministry of Defence. later on it was registered as a Society in December 1965.In actually assumed the charge of Kendriya Vidyalaya from April 1966.At present we have almost 945 schools through out India..
